Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join our highly experienced team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

The Opportunity:

As the sole community hospital for over 350 miles, this role carries the tremendous responsibility of providing essential surgical care to the residents of Interior Alaska and our more remote neighbors. By practicing in a more rural community, our surgeons benefit from a diverse caseload, encompassing a wide variety of surgeries that allow them to continuously refine and sharpen their skills. Joining our team offers the chance to broaden your scope of practice and explore new avenues for professional growth. 

• Compensation: Competitive pay, generous benefits, and a $65k sign-on bonus.
• Schedule: A typical week includes four scheduled days and one administrative day. Scheduled days are divided between the clinic, the OR, and endoscopy. 
• Team: Two highly experienced surgeons with mature practices, a dedicated practice manager, and ample reception and scheduling staff. We’re looking to expand our number, given an abundance of local referrals and the need for call coverage.
• The OR: State-of-the-art facilities, exceptional anesthesia team, and ample support in the operating room.
