Locum Tenens Cardiologist

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join an established and collegial cardiology team. This is an outpatient-focused role with a strong emphasis on consultative cardiology and cardiac imaging, supported by a full complement of interventional and electrophysiology colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care, including new consultations and ongoing management of patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular disease, and arrhythmias
• Interpret echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, exercise treadmill tests, and ambulatory cardiac monitoring
• Perform and supervise stress testing
• Participate in inpatient consultative rounding on a rotating basis
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery colleagues for advanced cases
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Level II training in echocardiography required; nuclear cardiology certification preferred
• Active and unrestricted medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered approach

Schedule and Call

• Monday through Friday outpatient schedule
• Shared call rotation of 1:6 with cardiology colleagues
• Minimal weekend responsibilities
